Daily interactive musical performances for children in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Den Haag. MEMO offers a special artistic challenge and an extraordinary audience.

The MEMO audience is different from any other you will have met before. One that laughs, sings, claps, squeals and jumps up and down with pleasure. The children’s concentration can be breathtaking in itself. An audience from 0 to 6 years old, charmingly honest, expressive and appreciative. Their applause comes straight from the heart.

Performing for children is a unique experience. Children react not only on what you do, but also on who you are. What you give comes straight back to you.

MEMO artists work as solo performers. The unique MEMO training programme and the experiences that follow will help you to grow professionally and creatively.

MEMO offers a platform for artistic development and an opportunity to: 
* perform frequently, always for a new audience and outside of the regular stages and performance contexts, free of (physical) distance between audience and artist.
* try new ideas and discover new sources of inspiration
* think about your own motivation, what music/dance/theater means to you and translate this into your performance
* work on your own artistic development: communication skills (musical, non-verbal, verbal), improvisation skills, imagination/creativity, freedom and flexibility (reacting to and dealing with  your audience or unforseen situations), use of space during your performance.

MEMO also offers: 
* flexible working: hours MEMO fits perfectly into your (busy) life, is flexible and easy to combine with other commitments. Performances take place daily, mostly between 10-11.30h in the morning. No Dutch is No problem! 
* coaching and support: You are guided through the process of making your own MEMO and making it suitable for this age group by professional MEMO coaches.
* payment: Financial compensation for your performances for the children. You can grow within the organisation. Taking part in this project can lead to professionally paid educational work in schools.
